This is a FULL-TIME, Contract-to-Hire opportunity, with the potential for permanent employment after a 90-day evaluation period.

Job Overview:

TEKsystems is currently seeking applications for CCTV and Alarm Service Technicians to engage in installation and service projects at various retail sites within the Kansas City Metro area.

We are looking for self-driven and dependable technicians who can manage service and specialized installation tasks independently, demonstrating problem-solving skills to complete assignments effectively. This position offers long-term employment with competitive compensation and outstanding benefits for qualified individuals. We prioritize building relationships and investing in our workforce.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of various CCTV systems and structured cabling techniques and standards. Familiarity with camera operations and DVR/NVR configurations is highly advantageous.

We seek a motivated self-starter capable of working autonomously and devising solutions to ensure task completion.

Candidates must be adaptable to diverse layouts and environments, as each project will present unique challenges. Technicians will be responsible for cabling, system installations, and troubleshooting as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:


• Travel across the state


• Option for a company vehicle


• Ability to operate a boom and scissor lift up to 60 feet comfortably


• Capability to climb structures up to 60 feet using a tower climbing harness (training on proper equipment usage will be provided)


• Proficiency in terminating Cat6 jacks and RJ45 connectors


• Ability to mount and troubleshoot network cameras
