Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales and Event Coordinator to join our team. As a Sales and Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating meaningful connections with clients and bringing their events to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster Strong Client Relationships: Establish a trusting relationship with clients to establish a strong rapport.
  • Meet Sales Targets: Adhere to weekly, monthly, and yearly sales targets and work towards exceeding them.
  • Seek New Business Opportunities: Seek new business opportunities like corporate events, residential gatherings, weddings, and galas.
  • Client Management: Welcome and acknowledge all clients according to company standards; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Event Planning: Manage client tastings and keep in touch with them to inform them of any updates leading up to the event.
  • Product and Service Knowledge: Understand and communicate the company's products and services effectively to clients.
  • Client Payments: Handle client payments with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Sales-Related Documents: Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process, such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals.
  • Client Communication: Respond to all leads promptly and serve as clients' primary point of contact, addressing their inquiries and requests.
  • Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and professionally, verbally and in writing, and follow proper etiquette when answering phone calls.
  • Sales Techniques: Utilize sales techniques that help maximize revenue.
  • Quality Assurance: Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Multi-Tasking: Must be able to multi-task and be self-motivated.
  • Client Management: Handle multiple clients and menus efficiently to ensure successful events.
Requirements
  • Able to lift and push 25+ pounds.
  • Travel up to 15% (within the state of MN).
