Site Operations Program Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees the daily operations and program initiatives at the site level.
  • Ensures that all program functions are executed consistently and ethically, adhering to the mission and values of Think Together while aligning with the four core agreements:
1) Be accountable

3) Ensure safety and

4) Enjoy the process

  • Evaluates and monitors the effectiveness of the Think Together program, including engagement levels, quality of services, behaviors, and student outcomes for ongoing improvement. The Site Operations Program Manager is accountable for a positive student experience.
  • Executes all Think Together Program Design and other program requirements.
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive curriculum, featuring lessons and activities that promote the academic success of students.
  • The Site Operations Program Manager is responsible for maintaining program quality. This includes training and mentoring all staff to understand routines, procedures, and program design. They must provide all staff with necessary materials and ensure student participation.
  • Effectively trains and supervises the site team on instructional practices that foster student academic success and engagement. Provides continuous coaching to all direct reports.
  • Cultivates a positive work environment and team spirit.
  • Ensures a safe and healthy environment for students and staff on a daily basis. Responsible for implementing all safety protocols in accordance with Think Together and district policies. The Site Operations Program Manager must ensure adherence to the school safety plan and report all incidents.
  • Conducts interviews, recommends, supervises, trains, disciplines, and terminates site staff as necessary.
  • Guarantees the sustainability of funding sources by meeting mandatory goals set by funding entities, such as attendance targets.
  • Maintains accurate, complete, and timely records of all student enrollment data through the student database. The Site Operations Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the site meets Average Daily Attendance (ADA) and complies with all data and attendance policies.
  • Ensures the accuracy of data entry, attendance records, and confidentiality of student information.
  • Maintains precise program records and adheres to operational reporting protocols.
  • Upholds a high level of confidentiality and refrains from disclosing any sensitive information related to the Program, students, families, or staff.
  • Demonstrates the ability to meet performance metrics and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Effectively administers student assessments and evaluations for program enhancement.
  • Regularly communicates with school leadership and faculty to align on academic goals and initiatives.
  • Keeps school administrators, staff, and parents informed about program activities and daily occurrences.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to all stakeholders. Builds effective working relationships and participates in school meetings as needed for collaboration.
  • Encourages open communication among team members and stakeholders for ongoing self-improvement and skill development.
  • Works cooperatively with partners, staff, public officials, parents, and community leaders.
  • Communicates effectively in both oral and written forms, demonstrating sensitivity to the target audience.
  • Manages site-level budgets.
  • Ensures the accurate approval of all timecards for direct reports, in accordance with pay practices.
  • Implements additional human resource policies and procedures as required.
  • Attends Site Operations Program Manager meetings, both in-person and virtually, as well as other training sessions as requested.
  • Executes other plans or requirements related to program quality, customer experience, and business needs.
  • Manages and adheres to all established deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience

Level 1

Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.

A combination of education and experience relevant to the position, with increasing responsibility, which may include but is not limited to:

> 1-2+ years of experience in education or youth programs.

> At least 1+ year in a supervisory or leadership role is required; 2+ years is highly preferred.

Internal Candidate:


> Completion of Think Together Build the Bench Program for Site Operations Program Manager.

Level 2

Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.

A combination of education and experience relevant to the position, with increasing responsibility, which may include but is not limited to:

> 2-3+ years of experience in education or youth programs,

> At least 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role is required; 3+ years is highly preferred.

> AA or vocational certificate related to the position.

Internal Candidate:


> Completion of Think Together Build the Bench Program for Site Operations Program Manager.

Level 3

Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university is required.

A combination of education and experience relevant to the position, with increasing responsibility, which may include but is not limited to:

> years of experience in education or youth programs,

> At least 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role is required; 4+ years is highly preferred.

Internal Candidate:


> Completion of Think Together Build the Bench Program for Site Operations Program Manager.

> years of Level II site experience.

Previous classroom experience is required.

Must meet the minimum qualifications set by the partner district for a classroom instructional aide.

Strong ability to communicate with students, parents, school staff, and faculty both verbally and in writing.

Excellent program management skills, including a demonstrated record of completing tasks on time and within budget.

Bilingual / Bi-cultural (Spanish) may apply in some cases.

CPR/First Aid certified or ability to obtain certification within the first 60 days.

Satisfactory TB skin test required.

Passing background check (DOJ & FBI) is mandatory.

Compensation:
