We are seeking an experienced Med Surg RN with a specialization in Neuro Trauma to join our healthcare team at The George Washington University Hospital. As a Med Surg RN in Neuro Trauma, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to critically ill and injured patients with neurologic injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and spinal cord injuries.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill and injured patients with neurologic injuries
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, including vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Current RN License in good standing with state licensing board
- BSN required or enrollment and completion of BSN within 5 years
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience in an acute care setting
- BLS certification (ACLS within 3 months of hire)
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $3,000 to support your transition
- Professional Development: $500 annually to invest in your growth
- Education Allowance: $3,000 annually to further your education
- Monthly Extra Shift Bonus: $3,000 per month through our 4x4 incentive program
- Shift Differential: $4 to $8 per hour
- Certification Bonus: $1,000 annually for maintaining your certifications
- Referral Bonus: $5,000 for referring a fellow RN
- Commuter Subsidy: $100 monthly
- Paid Time Off: 208 hours annually (104 hours part-time)
- Clinical Nurse Associate I Bonus: $2,000 in your first year
