Neuro Trauma Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg RN with a specialization in Neuro Trauma to join our healthcare team at The George Washington University Hospital.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care to critically ill and injured patients with neurologic injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and spinal cord injuries.
- Work in a 42-bed multi-specialty area committed to being the innovative leader in Neuroscience, Orthopedic and Trauma services.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
- Current RN License in good standing with state licensing board.
- BSN required OR enrollment and completion of BSN within 5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of Med-Surg experience in an acute care setting.
- BLS certification (ACLS within 3 months of hire).
