We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Altru Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying potential health risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Dakota.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
This position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting, with occasional bending and stooping. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing patient needs and priorities.
