We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Altru Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily rounds to ensure quality customer service and address any patient requirements.
- Develop a plan of care based on patient assessment, reflecting their physical, psychological, social, educational, and rehabilitative needs.
- Assess patient condition, set goals, and prescribe nursing actions to meet those goals and patient needs.
- Identify early warning signs of patient condition changes and respond accordingly.
- Report observations and reactions to multidisciplinary team members and record them accurately.
- Establish and maintain communication with patients and significant individuals.
- Begin discharge planning, education, and counseling based on identified needs.
- Assign or delegate nursing interventions to other qualified individuals.
- Registered Nurse licensure in North Dakota or a Compact State Agreement.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of start date.
This role requires occasional driving and frequent standing, walking, and stooping. The ideal candidate will be able to lift medium-weight objects and work in an indoor environment.
