Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Family Care Unit team at Altru Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients and families, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in North Dakota or Compact State Agreement.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
