Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified Group Leader School Age to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, enriching, and engaging environment for our children within the CREATE program. This includes planning and implementing developmentally appropriate daily activities, incorporating recreational activities that enhance the child's experience, and supervising children and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement daily activities for the CREATE program.
- Incorporate recreational activities that enhance the child's experience.
- Supervise children and volunteers.
- Maintain daily and weekly administration, including sign in/out books and daily attendance logs.
- Communicate regularly with the Supervisor regarding any children's issues.
- Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule to ensure program needs are met.
- Practice and maintain a safe, healthy, and clean environment.
We are looking for a candidate with a high school degree and experience working with children. A heart for ministry and comfort working with poor and homeless families is required. Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work and communicate with low socio-economic and diverse parents and clients, and the ability to plan, organize, and conduct educational programs.
