Job Overview

Coastal Horizons Center is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to provide behavioral health and substance use treatment to patients within our clinic.

The ideal candidate will be licensed by the state of North Carolina and have experience in providing age and specialty appropriate care.

Responsibilities include diagnosis, treatment, medication management, consultation, and follow up behavioral health and substance use care.

  • Provides behavioral health and substance use treatment to patients under the direction of a supervising psychiatrist and medical director.
  • Diagnoses and treats patients with a range of mental health conditions.
  • Prescribes and manages medications as needed.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of North Carolina.
  • Experience in providing behavioral health and substance use treatment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
