Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team at the Coastal Horizons Center as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality behavioral health and substance use treatment to patients within our clinic, under the direction of a supervising psychiatrist.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant, you will be responsible for providing diagnosis, treatment, medication management, consultation, and follow-up behavioral health and substance use care to agency patients.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver age and specialty-appropriate care that meets the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive behavioral health and substance use treatment to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and medication management.
  • Collaborate with supervising psychiatrists to ensure high-quality care and adhere to established clinical guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and evidence-based treatments to enhance your skills and expertise.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A license to practice as either a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant in the state of North Carolina.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that prioritizes dignity, respect, and empathy.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
