Job Title: EEG Technician

UTHealth Houston is seeking a skilled EEG Technician to join our team. As an EEG Technician, you will be responsible for performing electroencephalogram (EEG) recordings on patients and analyzing the results. You will also be responsible for archiving data, screening patients, monitoring EEG systems, printing films, and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform EEG recordings on patients and analyze the results
  • Archive data and maintain accurate records
  • Screen patients and obtain informed consent
  • Monitor EEG systems and perform routine maintenance
  • Print films and maintain equipment
Requirements:
  • BLS certification (CPR)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of job-related experience
Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced clinical environment with frequent exposure to patients and medical equipment. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
