About the Job

We are seeking a skilled EEG Field Technician to join our team at Neuro Pathway LLC. As an EEG Field Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic services to patients with neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct EEG tests in patients' homes, ensuring accurate and safe electrode placement.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear and compassionate guidance throughout the testing process.
  • Operate within the guidelines of the American Society of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (ASET) and adhere to all regulatory standards.
  • Install and test EEG equipment to ensure precise diagnostic readings.
  • Collect and integrate patient history into medical records.
  • Manage inventory and allocate supplies efficiently to minimize waste and ensure availability for in-home studies.
  • Verify patient information and ensure accurate study uploads.
  • Follow company protocols for equipment maintenance, cleaning, and storage.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and PHI regulations, as well as company confidentiality and code of conduct policies.
Requirements
  • Relevant clinical degree, certification, or training (e.g., EEG Technician I, II); ABRET certification is preferred (R.EEG.T).
  • CPR certified and have annual PPD test results.
  • Valid Texas drivers license (or equivalent issued in the U.S.); if selected, candidate will be subject to background check and review of DMV public records.
  • 3 years experience in neurology, epilepsy, or a related field is preferred.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and technology for health records and communication.
