Network Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team at Jacobs, working closely with NASA at centers across the United States.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a robust division network that supports a wide variety of labs, test chambers, and space engineering.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with IT team members to ensure network availability, resilience, and reliability
  • Designing and implementing network architecture to meet the needs of the Crew and Thermal Systems Division
  • Configuring and deploying network devices, including UTP and fiber optic cables
  • Providing comprehensive operation and maintenance support of network systems
  • Managing and tracking inventory of network systems within the supported division
  • Ensuring compliance with IT security standards and company policies

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
