Executive Culinary Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Benchmark Rise Uptown Hotel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the planning and execution of daily food production, preparation, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with menu planning, inventory management, and food cost control
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Conduct daily kitchen walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Participate in weekly F&B meetings and BEO meetings to discuss menu planning and inventory management
- Manage kitchen finances, including budgeting and cost control
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
Requirements:
- College degree in culinary arts or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a cook in a high-volume professional kitchen
- Knowledge of food allergens and ability to handle guest requests
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
