Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Culinary Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong work ethic. As a Culinary Associate, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking food, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
• Monitor food quality while preparing food.
• Set-up and break down work station.
• Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
