Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and caring manner.
  • Process personal and financial information accurately.
  • Obtain or review patient information, ensuring completeness and setting up new accounts when necessary.
  • Update and enter all patient information into the system.
  • Collect co-payments from new or returning patients and process co-insurance payments as applicable.
  • Run daily reports to balance charges.
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Previous experience in the healthcare industry is highly preferred. Strong customer service experience is also valuable.

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • General knowledge of office equipment such as copiers, printers, and fax machines.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Outlook and medical software preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Typing skills are essential.
