Position Overview:
As a Program Management Specialist, you will engage directly with clients and technical leaders, guiding development teams to deliver impactful systems and solutions. A solid grasp of networks, systems, and cybersecurity is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage and communicate daily with clients, including contract officers and technical managers.
- Drive organic growth through initiatives such as whitepapers and RFI responses.
- Lead all facets of multiple projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet client expectations.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly reports, including invoicing and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans with clear milestones for operational and technical planning.
- Track costs and report on staffing and contract expenditures.
Essential Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, a scientific discipline, or equivalent experience. An active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required, along with experience in managing complex technical projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) is advantageous. Experience in roles that provide insight into DoD or IC engineering, testing, and operations is beneficial. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or Jira Portfolio is desirable.
