Job Description

As a Platform Engineer with eTek IT Services, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the metadata infrastructure, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across the enterprise. You will leverage your expertise in ASG Data Intelligence Administration to optimize metadata management processes and drive efficiency and effectiveness in data governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain the ASG Data Intelligence metadata management tool.
  • Install and upgrade the Data Intelligence platform (Rochade, Becubic, etc).
  • Install and upgrade new scanners.
  • Administer global search and index service within the Data Intelligence tool.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather metadata requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Configure and customize ASG Data Intelligence to meet specific metadata management needs.
  • Develop and enforce metadata standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Administer business glossaries and contexts, creating user roles in Metability.
  • Conduct metadata quality assessments and implement remediation strategies as needed.
  • Debug and problem-solve production issues.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying and solving opportunities.
  • Communicate status, issues, and blockers with leadership.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on metadata management best practices, data governance policies, and ASG Data Intelligence usage.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in metadata management and data governance.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in metadata management, with a focus on ASG Data Intelligence Administration.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in administering and configuring ASG Data Intelligence (Rochade, Becubic, etc).
  • Strong understanding of metadata concepts, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications in metadata management or ASG Data Intelligence.
  • Experience in financial services (banking) industry.
