What We're Looking For:

We're seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our Engineering Team. In this role, you'll work cross-functionally with business domain experts, analytics, and engineering teams to build and maintain our data warehouse. You'll play a key part in establishing a solid data foundation for our data-driven company.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to improve data usability, quality, and reliability for the business
Work with Data Engineers to develop our overall data platform
Drive the development and maintenance of our data warehouse
Apply software engineering best practices to enhance analytics processes
Develop and maintain data quality rules, documentation, and definitions with the data team

Requirements:

Data warehousing experience, preferably with AWS or GCP at a hyper-growth company
Advanced SQL concepts, including window functions
Proficiency in Python or another programming language
Experience with or awareness of dbtBI, visualization, and administration tools like Looker or Tableau
Familiarity with data pipeline platforms, such as Fivetran or Stitch
Awareness of orchestration tooling, such as Dagster or Airflow
Ability to read Ruby code is a plus
Experience working with SaaS data, such as Salesforce, Zendesk, etc., is a plus
