Position Overview

The Mint Cannabis is on the lookout for a friendly and engaging Dispensary Host to enhance our team. This position requires an individual who enjoys customer interaction and can remain on their feet for extended periods. As a Dispensary Host, you will serve as the initial point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in ensuring they have a pleasant experience.

Our ideal candidate will bring energy and enthusiasm to their role daily. They should be motivated by a desire to collaborate with a team, grow professionally, and create joyful experiences for every customer who walks through our doors. This position is best suited for someone who sees each day as an opportunity to spread positivity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engagement and Hospitality:
    • Develop and oversee program plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Coordinate and facilitate project kickoff meetings.
    • Define program objectives, scope, and deliverables.
    • Ensure timely delivery of all projects within the program, adhering to scope and budget.
  • Queue Management:
    • Distribute preroll cards and address any inquiries during peak times.
  • Utilization of Technology:
    • Effectively use the Host iPad to manage patient information and updates.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their needs are met.
  • Welcoming Attitude:
    • Greet customers with warmth and friendliness.
  • Customer Assistance:
    • Guide customers in the lobby to the appropriate line for Online Orders or Walk-Ins.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Recognize the strengths of our budtenders to direct patients to the most suitable staff member for their needs.

Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Experience:
    • Must be at least 21 years old.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in hosting, hospitality, or greeting (Preferred)
  • Skills:
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Capacity to stand for prolonged periods.
    • Friendly and outgoing demeanor.
    • Basic proficiency with iPads or similar devices.
    • Aptitude for multitasking and effective time management.
