Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Inpatient Cardiology. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive health care to the cardiology patient population, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in cardiology.
- Bachelor's degree from a certified Nurse Practitioner accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the State of California.
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Licensure.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card.
- Valid American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) healthcare provider certification.
- Successful completion of SAMC Medical Staff credentialing process within sixty (60) days of hire.
- Previous experience working with the cardiology patient population is preferred.
