Lyle Health is looking for a dedicated and skilled Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a vital part of our esteemed cardiology team.
This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with the expectation of one weekend of hospital rounding every eight weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate independently in a clinical setting (post-training), managing a patient load of 20-25 individuals daily.
- Conduct thorough patient examinations, gather medical histories, document findings, and formulate preliminary diagnoses.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care services.
- Order and administer diagnostic tests as needed.
- Execute therapeutic procedures with precision.
- Utilize professional judgment to consult with supervising physicians regarding suitable treatment options.
- Create and implement comprehensive patient care plans, providing instruction and counseling to patients while tracking their progress.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in hospital rounds one weekend every eight weeks alongside a physician.
Qualifications:
- Valid California State License.
- Proven ability to establish rapport with patients.
- Capacity to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
