Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Activities to develop and implement a diverse activity program that caters to the interests and needs of our residents.
  • Lead and facilitate various programs, events, and activities that promote socialization, recreation, and personal growth.
  • Assist with special events, theme days, and facility celebrations that foster a sense of community and belonging.
  • Utilize your creativity and resourcefulness to develop new program ideas and adapt existing ones to meet the evolving needs of our residents.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and volunteers to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for our residents.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, including equipment and storage areas.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, management, residents, and family members in a positive and respectful manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Activity Director or Administrator.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.
  • Valid Class C driver's license required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Physical ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and perform tasks that require lifting, pushing, and pulling.
