- Assist with special events, theme days, and facility celebrations that foster a sense of community and belonging.
- Utilize your creativity and resourcefulness to develop new program ideas and adapt existing ones to meet the evolving needs of our residents.
- Work collaboratively with other departments and volunteers to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for our residents.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including equipment and storage areas.
- Communicate effectively with staff, management, residents, and family members in a positive and respectful manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Activity Director or Administrator.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.
- Valid Class C driver's license required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Ability to make independent decisions and work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Physical ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and perform tasks that require lifting, pushing, and pulling.
