- Assist with special events, theme days, and facility celebrations.
- Familiarity with crafts, games, and the interests of the resident population.
- Ability to be creative, develop new program ideas, and work with a minimum of supervision.
- Work in a cooperative manner with other departments and volunteers.
- Share responsibility of keeping equipment and storage areas in proper condition.
- Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- None required; on-the-job training provided.
- Must possess a Class C driver's license.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
We offer a competitive salary of $16.00-$17.00 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, accident, hospital, critical illness, disability, life, identity protection, 401k, holiday pay, vacation, and sick pay.
