Table Games Supervisor Job Description

At Rivers Casino, we are seeking a skilled Table Games Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our pit operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our table games, providing exceptional guest service, and leading a team of dealers to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage the performance of table games, including pit games, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Lead and motivate a team of dealers to achieve sales and service goals, providing coaching and feedback as needed.
  • Inspect card decks and gaming equipment to ensure they are in good working order and meet company standards.
  • Track and record player activity, including buy-ins, wins, losses, and bet amounts, to inform business decisions.
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints or concerns in a fair and timely manner.
  • Maintain a safe and secure gaming environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • Equivalent to a high school diploma with knowledge of gaming and dealing techniques.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a gaming environment, preferably in a table games setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to staff and guests.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Excellent customer relations and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing and certifications.
