KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to formulate effective project plans, outlining tasks, milestones, and activities.

Provide weekly updates on project status and potential risks to stakeholders.

Engage with agency business leaders to establish and uphold ongoing release schedules.

Define project goals and strategize with key business partners.

Coordinate and manage multiple project activities to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.

Deliver outcomes in accordance with established deadlines, deliverables, tasks, dependencies, and technical specifications.


Work alongside other Project Managers to create detailed plans, work breakdown structures, project checklists, and budgets to meet set time frames, funding, and staffing requirements.


Prepare and implement comprehensive support plans covering quality control, risk management, change management, testing, and other relevant project management areas.

Oversee the entire process, including monitoring project scope and managing change control procedures.

Conduct work in alignment with industry-recognized standards, guidelines, and practices.

Develop remediation plans and liaise with external stakeholders and internal partners to address issues.

Generate and maintain detailed reports that effectively track project status.

Comply with established organizational policies and procedures regarding project management methodologies, quality assurance, and related standards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrated experience in managing the implementation and deployment of large-scale enterprise-wide IT Access and Identity Management Systems (AIMS).

Experience handling multiple concurrent projects/applications at various stages with competing priorities and changing timelines.

Strong understanding and proven experience with various Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Proven track record in managing projects using Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or similar accreditation is highly desirable.

Ability to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, management, end users, project team members, and vendors.

Strong cross-functional leadership experience in a matrixed environment.

Capability to translate and communicate technical concepts, information, plans, and procedures to both technical personnel and non-IT business users.

Knowledge and demonstrated ability to conduct thorough planning, perform risk assessments, and develop associated risk mitigation strategies.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities to drive results from cross-functional teams.

Expertise in conducting efficient and effective meetings.

Proven exceptional project management experience across multiple timelines simultaneously.

Solid understanding of Government Security standards and Regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

A minimum of ten (10) years of IT experience.


At least eight (8) years of experience in a project manager role, overseeing projects from inception through delivery—on time and within budget, with full accountability and financial responsibility.

A minimum of five (5) years of extensive hands-on experience managing large-scale enterprise-wide IT projects.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing enterprise-wide Access and Identity Management projects.
Experience in preparing project documentation such as detailed requirements, status reports, etc.

Proficiency with JIRA or similar project management tools.

Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

Education: Bachelor's Degree.
