Position Summary
We are in search of a Construction Project Coordinator to contribute to our extensive redevelopment initiatives at a major airport project. This role is pivotal in assisting our contractor client with the implementation of complex specialized MEP systems. The Construction Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting Project Managers and Superintendents, ensuring the project adheres to its intended direction, timely completion, and financial objectives. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, a collaborative team member, and possess strong organizational, communication, and technical abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, and Smartsheet to facilitate project execution.
- Contribute to the development and adjustment of project timelines, offering insights on weekly updates and contingency planning.
- Participate in on-site evaluations with contractors and stakeholders to clarify project scope and necessary coordination.
- Enhance communication regarding project milestones and timelines to foremen and other team members.
- Assist in identifying and addressing on-site challenges and obstacles.
- Support the project closeout process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction is preferred, though relevant experience may be accepted.
- Fundamental understanding of the construction sector, including equipment, labor, and methodologies.
- 1-5 years of experience in building construction on intricate projects.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam software is essential.
- A robust background in construction is mandatory.
- Experience with Procore and Smartsheet is advantageous.
Compensation: $70,000-$100,000
