About the Role

AECOM Hunt is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead our ongoing project at JFK airport in Queens, NYC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completed on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management for construction projects
Ensure compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
Interface with all other administrative field staff, field management staff, and particularly the Project Manager in a coordinated effort

Requirements

BA/BS in a related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
6 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Experience as a Construction Superintendent on large, mega construction projects
Experience in managing, scheduling, overseeing work of subcontracted labor
Understanding of advanced construction concepts and nomenclature
BS Civil Engineering or related curriculum
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Ability to act independently and manage teams
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with various levels of management, clients, partners, municipal entities, etc.
