Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Vertical Transportation Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from pursuit and development to closeout, effectively communicating project requirements and technical aspects to multiple parties, and working with inspectors, designers, and specialists to perform project requirements in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for projects within assigned area from pursuit and development to closeout
  • Effectively communicate project requirements, and technical aspects to multiple parties including owners, building managers, contractors, architects, engineers, as well as State and Local authorities and regulatory agencies
  • Work with inspectors, designers, and specialists to perform the project requirements in an efficient manner
  • Review project deliverables including design documents, specifications, assessment, inspection, and audit reports
  • Negotiate the scope of work to meet the client's needs and provide high-quality service
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management
  • Minimum of 8 years of Vertical Transportation (Elevator/Escalator) experience, preferably in an airport setting
  • Minimum of 5 years of client management experience
  • Knowledge of the principles of cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration
  • Ability to accurately interpret construction contractual documents and contract modifications to determine cost of such change
  • Ability to read and review architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
  • Demonstrated skills in oral and written communication, including presentation skills, and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff
  • Must be able to develop and maintain positive and team-oriented relationships with all team members at all levels
  • Full working knowledge of MS Office 365
