Spearhead Pharmacy Operations and Improve Patient Outcomes

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia. In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing the nightly operation of our pharmacy, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and providing expert guidance to patients and staff alike.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the daily activities of the pharmacy team, focusing on efficiency, productivity, and high-quality patient care.
  • Promote best practices in Pharmacy distributive services, maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes.
  • Provide timely and accurate drug information to customers, addressing queries and concerns with expertise and compassion.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance in all aspects of pharmacy practice.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary, contributing to the overall success of our pharmacy team.

Estimated Salary Range: $109,116.80 - $174,595.20 Annual

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • No prior experience required; training provided
  • Commonwealth of Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License and American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification mandatory
