Job Description

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled pharmacist to lead our Solid Organ Transplant team.

About the Role

As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations and enhancing the quality of care delivery. You will also provide clinical pharmaceutical care to patients, serve as a leader in delivering pharmacy services, and support the oversight of pharmacy services. Additionally, you will engage in professional self-development and support educational initiatives through training and continuous growth.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmaceutical care to patients with solid organ transplants.
  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations and enhance the quality of care delivery.
  • Serve as a team leader to provide leadership in the delivery of pharmacy services.
  • Support the oversight of pharmacy services.
  • Engage in professional self-development.
  • Support educational initiatives through training and continuous growth.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree, PGY1 experience or equivalent hospital experience, and a Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License. Additionally, you must be proficient in communication, auditory and visual skills, and have the ability to stand and travel for prolonged periods.
