Pharmaceutical Care Specialist

As a key member of the Neuroscience Service Line team, this Pharmaceutical Care Specialist position plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in clinical pharmacy practice, with a strong focus on medication therapy management and optimization. Key responsibilities include providing pharmaceutical care to patients across various settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication use, and promoting quality improvement initiatives within the Pharmacy Department.
This leadership-oriented role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. The successful candidate will be expected to stay current with industry developments and advancements in pharmacotherapy, as well as contribute to education and training programs for colleagues.
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist with a PGY-1 residency or equivalent hospital experience, holding a Commonwealth of Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License and American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification. A competitive salary package is offered, commensurate with qualifications and experience, ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 annually.
