Mentorship Program Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Mentor Coordinator for The Dream Program.
The successful candidate will support Youth Service Managers with training, recruiting volunteer mentors from college campuses, and assisting with the Village Mentoring program to provide holistic support for mentees.

The Dream Program is committed to dismantling systems of oppression that affect our youth and families. We seek members who contribute to our diverse community, fostering an inclusive environment and delivering culturally appropriate programming to the youth we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure volunteer mentors understand the Village Mentoring model and their role and responsibilities.
- Communicate with Youth Services Managers for individual needs assessments of mentees and encourage communication between the community, support staff, and mentors.
- Provide resources and training for high-quality mentoring experiences.
- Achieve a 1:1 ratio of mentors and mentees through effective relationship-building and mentor engagement strategies.
- Bolster chapter growth by ensuring mentors and mentees have an exceptional experience, receive comprehensive training, and maintain a strong support network.
Required Qualifications:
- Commitment to the entire service term.
- Passion for supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Demonstrated practice or education serving diverse communities or populations of people of color.
- Ability to manage time and set priorities while considering others' needs.
- Citizenship or lawful permanent residency requirements.
- Minimum age requirement (17 years old).
- High school diploma or equivalent OR waiver.
- Enrollment at Temple, Thomas Jefferson, La Salle, St. Joseph's, Stayer, or Arcadia universities.
Compensation Package:
We offer a living stipend of $425-$237.67 in biweekly payments, AmeriCorps benefits (SNAP, child care assistance, Medicaid, student loan deferment, and more), and a Segal Education Award ($1565.08) upon completing the service term.
Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $40,000 per year
Total Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 per year
