Key Responsibilities:As a Bakery Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing baked goods as directed by the Facility Manager, adhering to a daily baking schedule.
- Measuring and weighing ingredients accurately for dough and batter preparation.
- Operating various baking equipment, including mixers, ovens, and proof boxes, following standard procedures.
- Performing barista duties as required and assisting in training new staff members.
- Maintaining cleanliness of cooking and service equipment, including thorough cleaning of work areas.
- Managing the preparation of pizza dough and other baked items according to customer orders.
- Generating weekly inventory orders for bakery supplies and submitting them to management.
- Restocking supplies in the preparation and cooking areas as necessary.
- Monitoring and logging day-old bakery items for waste management.
- Serving food and beverages, and assisting with food preparation tasks.
- Executing additional duties as assigned to support the bakery operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Fluency in English for effective communication with supervisors and customers.
- Understanding of baking procedures and equipment operation.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions, including recipes.
- Physical capability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform various physical tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in food service, particularly in baking.
