As a Culinary Supervisor, Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Preparing delectable meals that cater to diverse dietary requirements.
  • Conducting regular quality assurance assessments to ensure food quality and kitchen organization.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with food suppliers and equipment vendors.
  • Overseeing the hiring, onboarding, training, and evaluation of kitchen personnel.
  • Assisting in supervising utility and front-of-house staff as necessary.
  • Fostering a motivating environment that inspires creativity and problem-solving among team members.
  • Acting as Executive Chef in their absence.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Experience as a Chef or Kitchen Manager in a senior living environment is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff and external partners.
  • Capability to prepare therapeutic and modified diets.
  • Successful completion of a recognized food safety training program.
