ROLE SUMMARY
This position involves the development and management of comprehensive work schedules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Formulates and sustains detailed work schedules.
  • Creates and oversees testing and retesting timelines while managing resource allocation.
  • Collaborates with work group representatives to optimize resource distribution.
  • Evaluates specific work orders and provides scheduling recommendations.
  • Develops alternative schedules and conducts analyses with teams to identify the most efficient scheduling methods.
  • Recognizes support activities and integrates them into the schedule.
  • Updates work management and scheduling software tools.
  • Generates reports to clarify work scope.
  • Coordinates with Operations to define tagging system boundaries.
  • Monitors progress on schedules during execution phases.
  • Conducts critical path assessments for outage schedules.
  • Assists in the creation of post-work evaluations.
  • Facilitates collaboration among various work groups.
  • Identifies issues, analyzes alternatives, and proposes solutions to scheduling conflicts.
  • Suggests modifications to existing methods, procedures, and processes to enhance outage activities.
  • Communicates technical information and concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Participates as a member of the Emergency Response Organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Background:
  • Scheduler I: Preferred: Technical degree or related scientific discipline associated with power plant operations or equivalent experience.
  • Scheduler II: Preferred: B.S. Degree in Engineering or related scientific discipline associated with power plant operations or equivalent experience.
  • Scheduler Sr: Preferred: B.S. Degree in Engineering or related scientific discipline associated with power plant operations or equivalent experience.
  • Outage Scheduler, Sr: Preferred: B.S. Degree in Engineering or related scientific discipline associated with power plant operations or equivalent experience.

Experience Requirements:
  • Scheduler I: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nuclear power plant environment.
  • Scheduler II: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a nuclear power plant environment.
  • Scheduler Sr: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a nuclear power plant environment. Preferred: 2 years of experience in maintenance, production, or operations at the facility.
  • Outage Scheduler, Sr: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a nuclear power plant environment. Preferred: 2 years of experience in maintenance or operations at the facility.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Technical knowledge of nuclear generation principles and operations. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Preferred: Proficiency in current business applications.
  • Highly Preferred: Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software.

None required.
