Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in a high-acuity, medical/surgical environment within a prominent healthcare institution.
Work Schedule:
- This is a Full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring acute medical or surgical interventions.
- Conduct thorough assessments and provide care for patients with diverse physical and psychological conditions.
- Manage care for patients needing special precautions, including isolation protocols.
- Perform insertion and maintenance of peripheral intravenous lines.
- Oversee central line management for intravenous fluid administration.
- Provide emergency interventions as necessary.
- Administer medications via various routes, including oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous, as well as blood products.
- Ensure accurate verification of physician orders.
- Maintain complete and precise documentation of patient care in accordance with facility policies.
- Conduct phlebotomy and bedside testing as required.
- Offer psychological support to patients as needed.
- Execute complex wound care and dressing changes.
- May be required to care for patients with infectious diseases.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of current experience in an acute care, medical/surgical unit within a major healthcare facility, excluding agency roles.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program recognized by the appropriate state authority.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred; a Master's Degree is highly desirable.
- Possession of an unrestricted registered nurse license from any state in the United States.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary of $57.50 per hour.
