Sr. Quality Improvement Specialist

IPRO is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team in Lake Success, New York. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in improving the quality of healthcare for Medicaid beneficiaries enrolled in managed care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct virtual and onsite assessments of primary care practices, maternity care practices, and hospitals to identify areas for quality improvement.
  • Review clinical and population health activities associated with best practices in healthcare delivery, equity, and patient engagement.
  • Advise on quality improvement strategies in both the organization of clinical quality and office efficiency.
  • Analyze findings and write reports to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, public policy, public health, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in public health, quality improvement science, health informatics, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience working in quality improvement in a healthcare organization or managed care.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with clinicians, administrators, and other stakeholders.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $88,000.00-$115,000.00 per year.
