The University of Vermont Health Network seeks a Quality Improvement Consultant to join its team. As a key member of the Quality Management department, this individual will work closely with leadership to develop, implement, and monitor clinical and operational systems improvement projects that support the organization's strategic priorities. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in systems analysis and performance optimization, risk reduction, and accreditation compliance. They will utilize quality management tools and methodology to analyze workflow processes, plan and implement projects, and make recommendations for clinical operational systems improvements. Key responsibilities include:

* Collaborating with leadership to identify and prioritize quality improvement initiatives
* Conducting systems analysis and performance optimization to identify areas for improvement
* Developing and implementing quality improvement projects to address identified areas
* Providing expertise in accreditation compliance and risk reduction
* Utilizing quality management tools and methodology to analyze workflow processes and make recommendations for improvement

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare operations, quality improvement, and systems analysis. They will have a proven track record of success in implementing quality improvement initiatives and will be able to work effectively with all levels of staff and management. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required, with a Master's degree in Nursing or a related field preferred.
