We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Assistant Director of Nursing at Carnegie Post Acute Skilled Nursing in Princeton. This is a full-time position that requires long-term care experience.
Responsibilities- Direct, evaluate, and supervise all resident care, initiating corrective action as necessary.
- Assess resident care needs and assist in developing individualized plans of resident care.
- Conduct resident care conferences and report problems to the Administrator and DON.
- Conduct daily resident rounds and initiate corrective action as necessary.
- Supervise and schedule nursing service employees, conduct interviews, and hire new staff members.
- Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges, establishing good public relations with hospital discharge coordinators.
- Ensure nursing service compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and direct the allocation of nursing service equipment and supplies.
- RN License
