Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized behavioral intervention services to clients facing behavioral challenges.
- Assist in daily program activities focused on self-help, communication, social skills, cognitive development, motor skills, and crisis management.
- Support clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, oral hygiene, meal preparation, dressing, and mobility.
- Implement and monitor the Behavior Support Plan, collecting data on behaviors and goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience in educational or healthcare settings is preferred.
- A minimum of one year working with individuals with special needs exhibiting challenging or aggressive behaviors.
- Relevant college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences, or related fields is advantageous.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification for adults and children is required (or willingness to obtain).
- Updated TB test within the last 90 days (or willingness to obtain).
- Must be at least 18 years old.
