Job Title: Medical Assistant - Orthopaedic Care

Arrowhead Orthopaedics is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans
  • Coordinate patient care, including scheduling appointments, ordering tests, and communicating with patients and healthcare providers
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an orthopaedic medical office preferred
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute and operate a computer, scanner, and software programs, including Microsoft Outlook
  • Superior customer service and communication skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • CPR certification required
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, requiring a flexible schedule and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
