Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Executive Underwriter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing our energy transition tax credit insurance products, working closely with our carrier and reinsurance partners.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute energy transition tax credit insurance products, including origination and relationship management with project developers, technology developers, investors, and lenders.
- Evaluate financing structures for energy transition investments and businesses, and design insurance solutions that relocate risks from the capital markets to the insurance markets.
- Assess commercial and technology risk, and develop pricing techniques and modeling to support policy drafting, loss control, and risk mitigation.
- Support claim assessment and management, and stay up-to-date with Section 48 and Section 45 tax credit regulations.
- 5-7 years' experience in tax credit insurance, with a focus on energy transition and renewable energy.
- Strong understanding of financing structures, risk assessment, and insurance product development.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
