We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Technologist to lead our team in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. As a Lead Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring quality and accuracy in imaging and patient care, and providing guidance and support to staff members.
Key Responsibilities- Lead assigned staff in performing medical and diagnostic imaging activities or tasks.
- Ensure quality in imaging, patient care, and workflow.
- Monitor patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.
- Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Serve as a resource to department staff and other team members as needed.
- Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching.
- Provide input to staff performance evaluations.
- Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience or 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
