Position Overview

This part-time weekend shift role in the Diagnostic Imaging Department focuses on ultrasound radiology technology.

The individual will oversee the daily functions of diagnostic ultrasound services, utilizing independent judgment in accordance with established ultrasound protocols and under the guidance of a radiologist.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program.
  • Possession of RDMS certification or eligibility for registration.
  • If not registered, the candidate must achieve ARDMS registration within one year of employment.
  • Basic communication skills are required.
  • Fundamental computer proficiency is necessary.
  • Ability to be on-call and work shifts, including holidays and weekends, with a 30-minute response time for callbacks.
  • BLS certification for Health Care Providers must be obtained within three months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
  • Additional training in radiologic technology and vascular ultrasound is advantageous.

On-Call/Weekend Requirements: Yes.
