Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical sonograms, providing quality patient care, and assuming responsibility for all ultrasound services offered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic medical sonograms, both general and vascular
  • Provide quality patient care and assume responsibility for all ultrasound services offered
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, lead sonographer, manager, Radiologists, providers, and all other clinic/hospital staff
  • Assist the Core Leader in meeting department goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Coursework/Training and Graduate of an Ultrasound program accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Radiologic Technology Education (JRCRTE) Or equivalent educ/experience
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or National Registered Technologist - Sonography Or National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
