This part-time position focuses on weekend shifts within the Diagnostic Imaging Department, specifically for an Ultrasound Radiology Technician.
The role involves overseeing the daily functions of diagnostic ultrasound services, utilizing independent judgment in accordance with established ultrasound protocols and guidance from radiologists.
Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program.
- RDMS certification or eligibility for registry.
- If not registered, must achieve ARDMS certification within a year of employment.
- Basic communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- Ability to be on-call and work shifts, including holidays and weekends, with a response time of 30 minutes for callbacks.
- BLS certification as a Health Care Provider within three months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Additional training in radiologic technology and vascular ultrasound is advantageous.
On-Call/Weekend Requirement: Yes.
