Location:
Somerset, PA

Work Schedule:
Full-Time - 40 Hours/Week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM; plus 8 Hours of Weekend Homecare required monthly.

Compensation:
Starting at $15.50 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on verified caregiving experience.

Key Responsibilities:

The Aide will be responsible for assisting elderly participants with daily living activities, engaging them in recreational pursuits, and delivering personal care services both at our Adult Day Center and, when necessary, at their residences.


Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Licensure Requirements:
A valid PA Driver's license and a dependable vehicle are required.

Experience Requirements:
A minimum of one year (12 months) of experience in caregiving for frail or elderly individuals is essential. Experience as a personal care aide, home health aide, or nursing assistant is preferred.

Essential Skills:
- Strong discretion, tact, patience, and sound judgment.
- An empathetic and compassionate approach to elderly care.
- Ability to comprehend and execute non-technical verbal and written instructions, document messages, and maintain records.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster cooperation among participants.
- Physical and emotional capability to perform assigned duties.
- Routine tasks involving personal care and engagement in program activities for participants.
