Evening Shift (United States of America)

JOB OVERVIEW
As a vital member of our production team, you will engage in various medical assembly and processing tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble medical products in a dynamic assembly operation, performing diverse tasks on a rotating basis.
  • Rotate through different positions on the assembly line.
  • Conduct on-line and in-process visual inspections to ensure compliance with specifications outlined in work orders and procedures.
  • Support Team Leaders and Technicians during product and/or machine transitions.
  • Guarantee that assembled products meet established quality standards.
  • Identify and reject products that do not meet specifications.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Operate various testing equipment as needed for routine product and process evaluations.
  • Willingness to work overtime may be necessary for this role.
  • Perform additional related tasks as required.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, adhering to local practices.
  • Proficient in writing and reading.
  • Capable of sitting, standing, and bending as needed.
  • Strong visual acuity and color perception.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
  • Good depth perception and peripheral vision.
  • Demonstrated fine motor skills.
  • Ability to work in environments with noise and chemical vapors.
  • Exposure to soldering fumes may occur.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English or meet local language requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to rotate within a specific assembly line or work cell.
  • Capable of performing various assembly tasks requiring dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • Ability to visually inspect work and determine if products are assembled correctly.
  • Follow instructions for repetitive tasks with attentiveness.
  • Work effectively as part of a team in assembling sterile medical products.
  • Meet line rate expectations consistently.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three months of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Three to six months of tenure with the same employer is desirable.
  • If working on a Spanish-language line, proficiency in Spanish or bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) is preferred.

  • Medical product assembly and eye-hand coordination.
  • Ability to rotate through assembly line tasks.
  • Quality inspection skills.
  • Operation of computerized testing equipment.
